Job Description

LOCATION:          Special Education – Farnsworth Middle School (0.4FTE) & Guilderland High School (0.2FTE)

ANTICIPATED DATES:      January 4, 2027 - June 30, 2027

BASIC FUNCTION:  
Remediation of speech and language disorders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
A. Individual and group speech/language therapy in consultation with the Special Education classroom teacher.  

Job Qualifications

1. NYS certification as a Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped; or Speech & Language Disabilities, and
2. NYS license as a Speech/Language Pathologist preferred.
3. Fluent in American Sign Language

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
