Job Description

LOCATION:          Career & Technical Education –CTE Albany

                              Anticipated Date: 2026-27 school year

BASIC FUNCTION:           

Enforcement of previously introduced skills and implementation of daily classroom routines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To teach mathematics in a Career & Technical and Special Education high school setting.
2. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of educators to teach integrated math activities in the career & technical and special education programs using the co-teaching model set forth by the NYS and BOCES services.

Job Qualifications

1. NYS teaching certification in Mathematics 7-12.
2. Some experience with Special Education students ideal.
3. Willingness and ability to embrace new challenges and ideas and to work as an integral part of a team.

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001
