Job Description

LOCATION:          Educational Support Services – TBD-Albany or Schenectady County     

DATES:                 May 18, 2026 - August 28, 2026   

BASIC FUNCTION:

Supervise and administer all aspects of regional summer school programs in the district location listed above.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for supervision of overall site operations, services and staff and students.
2. Implement policies, procedures and/or processes for the purpose of providing direction and/or complying with mandated requirements.
3. Provide leadership and support to all summer school staff.

Job Qualifications

1. Must possess New York State certification in School Administration.
2. Experience in an administrative capacity with hiring, scheduling, staff supervision, student discipline, state test coordination and administration.
3. Experience with regional summer high school program either as a teacher, administrative intern or administrator preferred.
4. Experience with restorative practices and SEL

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
