Job Description

LOCATION:                          Northeastern Regional Information Center – Cooperative Virtual Learning Academy  
                                             (physical location of employee is at the discretion of the teacher in consultation with BOCES)

BASIC FUNCTION:            To provide counselling and guidance services for students and teachers throughout the school year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:          To provide services for secondary level students.

Job Qualifications

1. NYS certification in School Counseling/Guidance.
2. Experience with students with social/emotional needs.
3. Experience with secondary students preferred.

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.

SALARY:   BOCES employee salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with contract language.
