Job Description

LOCATION:                        Career & Technical Education – Albany Campus

BASIC FUNCTION:

Provides leadership and overall supervision in the management of the Career & Technical Education programs at the Albany campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for planning, curriculum development, program evaluation, personnel management, financial management, emergency procedures, scheduling, and facilities operations.
2. Commitment to building partnerships with post-secondary institutions and local businesses.

Job Qualifications

1. Candidate must possess New York State administrative certification, teaching certification and a Master’s degree.
2. Experience in Career & Technical Education preferred.
3. Previous building level leadership preferred.
4. Demonstrated record of instructional leadership.
5. Ability to facilitate a successful building leadership team.
6. A leader who collaborates and builds consensus with staff, students and parents.
7. Commitment to contributing to a strong administrative team district wide.
8. Challenges others to achieve goals in a supporting learning environment.
1. Inspires excellence in students, staff and the community.
10. An excellent communicator with good listening skills, who is willing to receive feedback constructively and with respect.
