Job Description

LOCATION: Special Education - Various Locations

BASIC FUNCTION: Remediation of speech and language disorders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:   Individual and group speech/language therapy and consultation with the Special Education classroom teacher.

Job Qualifications

A.    NYS certification as a Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped; and
B.    NYS license as a Speech/Language Pathologist preferred.

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.

Salary dependent on education, certification and experience as detailed in current contract prorated to amount of service rendered.
