Job Description

LOCATION:    Central Administration-Multiple District Locations TBD

BASIC FUNCTION:

Capital Region BOCES is seeking eligible candidates willing to be included in a pool of experienced school leaders willing to lead school buildings during the transition phase.  Candidates must have a track record of achievement necessary to inspire the students, staff and community to meet building and district goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To lead a district school building during the transition time necessary for a Principal search.  

Job Qualifications

1. Must hold a valid School Building Leader, School Administrator/Supervisor or School District Administrator certificate.
2. Proven building level leadership preferred.
3. Ability to facilitate a successful building leadership team.
4. A leader who collaborates and builds consensus with staff, students and parents.
5. An excellent communicator with good listening skills, who is willing to receive feedback constructively and with respect.
